Mighty Putty

As seen on TV, Mighty Putty is a powerful two-part epoxy stick that stops leaks mid-stream and adheres to almost any surface. Before it found infomercial fame, this plumber's epoxy putty sold on the shelves of hardware stores, with much of its potential hidden.

Mighty Putty looks like a green clay on the outside and is quite malleable to the touch. A small piece cut from the putty stick and rolled with the hands can create any shape needed. It can also fill holes. Gentle kneading activates the epoxy putty by combining two chemicals. When it turns from green to white, it is ready for use. It takes just 30 minutes to dry to the touch and about 24 hours to finish drying completely.

Mighty Putty Works around the House

Mighty Putty has a variety of applications. It can be used to:

  • Repair a leaky pipe
  • Fill cracks and holes
  • Fix dings in furniture
  • Repair broken mugs and dishes
  • Hang framed photos flush to the wall

Once dry, the putty can be sanded, painted or drilled. When used to fill holes in drywall, it seamlessly blends into the surrounding area with just a bit of sanding and painting. For textured walls, a spray on texture or sponged compound can be used directly over the patched area. Epoxy is permanent and needs no further work once complete.

Online As Seen On TV and More sells this epoxy, as well as other products that are designed to make household projects fun and manageable. From magnetic tool holders to broken light bulb extractors, there is a range of merchandise that works just like it does in the infomercials seen on TV.
